About this bike

The Scott Addict Gravel 20 Bike is built for riders who treat gravel as a destination, not a detour. This is a pure gravel bike from Scott, engineered for daily off-road escapes and light multi-day touring, with a HMF Carbon frame and fork that carry a replaceable UDH derailleur hanger, fully internal cable routing, and Syncros fender kit compatibility for riders who want to keep rolling into fall and winter.

Scott's tube shaping is where this frame separates itself from a generic gravel platform. The brand's airfoil profile, originally developed for its road bikes, carries over to the Addict Gravel's down tube, head tube, seat tube, seatpost, and seat stays. The intent is to manage airflow around the frame without sacrificing the compliance a gravel bike needs over broken surfaces, so the aero shaping works alongside the bike's ride quality rather than against it. Scott also built in a real cargo strategy: a mount for a bolt-on top-tube bag, an extra mount on the down tube for a second bottle cage or a toolbox, and two bottle cage positions so a frame bag doesn't crowd your water access. None of it is decorative — it's there because this bike is meant to carry what a long day, or several of them, actually requires.

The build centers on Sram's Force AXS XPLR E1 groupset, a 13-speed electronic drivetrain designed specifically around gravel's demands rather than adapted from road. A single 42-tooth chainring pairs with a wide-range 10-46 cassette, giving you a low enough gear for punchy climbs on loose surfaces without the front derailleur and second ring you don't need off-road. The crankset integrates a power meter, so structured training data comes standard rather than as an add-on. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm Paceline rotors handle stopping power in the wet, muddy, and dusty conditions gravel routes tend to throw at you, and the whole drivetrain is wireless, which keeps shifting consistent even when the frame is caked in trail grime.
