About this bike

The Wilier Filante Ultimate 120 Dura-Ace Di2 Bike is an anniversary edition made to mark Wilier's 120th year. Wilier has built bikes in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, since 1906, and it limited this aero road bike to 120 units. Wilier calls it the most exclusive bike it has made. It is built on the Filante Ultimate, Wilier's top aero road platform, and it is sold as a complete bike, not a frameset.

Solstice Blue

The finish is called Solstice Blue 120. It is a deep blue with gold metallic flake that shifts with the light, and copper accents refer to Wilier's Ramato color. The seatpost and the integrated cockpit are painted to match the frame, so the front end reads as part of the bike, not an add-on. A special 120 logo appears on several components. The edition also includes a commemorative jersey in Solstice Blue, and the listing says each bike is numbered.

Frame and Cockpit

The frame and fork are carbon monocoque, made with Wilier's HUS MOD+ carbon and Crystal Liquid Polymer resin. The headset is integrated, and the frame is designed around electronic shifting, so cables and hoses run inside.

The cockpit is the F-Bar ID2 Ultimate, an integrated carbon bar and stem with a computer mount. Bar reach is 68 mm and drop is 124 mm. Stem length and bar width scale with frame size, from a 75 mm stem on the XS to 120 mm on the XL. The seatpost is the Filante ID2 Ultimate carbon post with no offset. An integrated cockpit limits how much you can change after the fact, so a fitting before you order is worth the time.

Geometry

The five sizes run from XS to XL. The XS has a 505 mm stack and a 373.5 mm reach, and the XL has a 577 mm stack and a 400 mm reach. Head angles go from 70.6 degrees on the XS to 73 degrees on the XL, and chainstays are 411 mm on all sizes except the XL, which has 413 mm. That is race geometry, with a low front…
