The Wilier Filante SLR ID2 Super Record WRL 13 Bike is Wilier's flagship aero road bike, built with Campagnolo's top wireless groupset. Wilier has been building bikes in Italy since 1906, and the Filante is the line it builds for fast group rides, road races, and the kind of windy, high-speed days where aerodynamics decide who is still on the front. This version of the Filante SLR is the second generation, and Wilier says it saves about 14 watts at 40 km/h compared with the previous Filante. That figure comes from Wilier's own testing, so treat it as a reference point, not a promise.

An Aero Frame Built Around Integration
The frame and fork are carbon monocoque, made with Wilier's HUS MOD+ carbon and Crystal Liquid Polymer. Cable routing is fully internal, and the headset uses Wilier's custom superslim bearings, which keep the front end narrow and clean. The 0 mm setback Filante SLR carbon seatpost is a custom shape that matches the frame.
Geometry is race-oriented. Head angles run from 70.6 degrees on the XS to 73.5 degrees on the XXL, and head tube length grows from 99 mm to 183 mm across six sizes. A size M has a 541 mm stack and a 386.5 mm reach, which puts you in a low, forward position without being extreme. Chainstays are 411 mm on XS through L and 413 mm on XL and XXL.
The Cockpit
The F-Bar ID2 is an integrated carbon bar and stem with a built-in Garmin and Wahoo computer mount. It gives the front of the bike a tidy shape, and it hides the hoses and wires that would otherwise sit in the wind. The tradeoff is adjustability. You can't swap stems to fine-tune reach, so size selection matters more than on a bike with a conventional bar and stem. If you are between sizes, a fitting before you buy is worth the time.
