The Wilier Filante SLR ID2 Dura-Ace Di2 w/Kleos 50 Wheels is the race bike Wilier sends to the WorldTour — an aero road bike built in Bassano del Grappa, Italy by a company that has been making racing bicycles since 1906. The ID2 generation represents a clean-sheet aerodynamic development: 4.5% less drag than the previous Filante, translating to a claimed 28.8 watts saved at 50km/h with a rider on board. At 7.1 kilograms with the Dura-Ace Di2 build and a full integrated cockpit, this is a serious race machine that doesn’t ask you to choose between aero performance and real-world usability.

The frame is built from three distinct carbon fiber grades — Toray T800, T1100, and M46JB — selected zone by zone to balance responsiveness, light weight, and stiffness. The frame weighs 860 grams. Each carbon type does specific work: T800 for compliance and feel, T1100 for weight reduction in critical sections, M46JB high-modulus fiber where torsional stiffness and lateral rigidity matter most. Tire clearance has been increased to 34mm over the previous model’s 30mm, making the Filante SLR ID2 a more versatile race platform without compromising its aero intent. The Shimano Di2 battery is housed in a custom resin casing above the bottom bracket — accessible in moments without removing the seatpost, and positioned low in the frame for optimal weight distribution.
The cockpit is the F-Bar ID2 — a full carbon integrated bar and stem with 3° of flare and hidden clamp hardware that eliminates exposed fasteners for cleaner aerodynamics and a cleaner appearance. Available in three width combinations (350/380mm, 370/400mm, 390/420mm) paired with stem lengths from 75mm to 120mm, the fit range is genuinely broad without requiring aftermarket substitutions. Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9270 runs the drivetrain: 52/36 chainrings, 11-30T cassette, 2x12-speed wireless electronic shifting, and hydraulic disc brakes with a 160mm front rotor and 140mm rear.
