The 3T Extrema Italia Force/XX SL Eagle Transmission AXS Bike starts from a different set of assumptions than most gravel bikes. Built in 3T's facility in Presezzo, Italy using the brand's Jazz Carbon process — in-house filament winding with high-strength and high-stiffness fibers combined with RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) resin injection — the Extrema Italia is designed around the largest tires you can credibly fit on a 700c gravel frame: up to 57mm WAM (Width-As-Measured). That clearance isn't a footnote; it defines the frame's aerodynamic geometry. 3T's Realfast philosophy means the tube profiles are engineered around actual measured tire dimensions, not labeled sizes — because a tire mounted and inflated on a rim is often meaningfully wider than what's printed on the sidewall. The result is a frame shaped to redirect airflow around wide, knobby tires efficiently rather than approximating aero performance at tire widths the frame wasn't actually designed for.

The 60mm-wide downtube immediately behind the front tire widens further toward the bottom bracket, profiled to shield rider and bottles from the turbulent wake of wide tires at speed. The headtube runs an elongated aero profile with a sharply truncated rear face, narrowing between the headset bearings to cut frontal drag. Integrated downtube storage with a Fidlock magnetic closure seals tools and tubes inside the frame, away from mud and weather. 3T's More Integrale stem system is built for real serviceability: stack height adjusts without disconnecting brake hoses, stem lengths (80-110mm across sizes) swap without a bleed, and the stem removes entirely for travel without touching the hydraulic lines. Triple mounts on the 3T Fango Extrema Integrale fork legs accommodate cargo cages for any load. The round 27.2mm carbon seatpost accepts wireless dropper and suspension posts, keeping the Extrema Italia viable deep into technical terrain.
