Description |
The Surly Straggler Subtropic Algae (GRX 610) is a bike that feels just as at home on city pavement as it does on country gravel roads. Built from Surly’s signature 4130 Chromoly steel, it delivers the smooth, durable ride quality the brand is known for.. strong enough for adventure, but comfortable enough for everyday use.

With a Shimano GRX 610 drivetrain, thru-axle wheel system, and flat-mount disc brakes, the Straggler brings modern reliability to Surly’s timeless all-road design. Tire clearance up to 50 mm means you can explore any route with confidence, while rack, fender, and three-pack mounts open the door for bikepacking, commuting, or long-haul touring setups.
Available now at Dismount Bike Shop in Toronto, Canada, the Straggler Subtropic Algae is ideal for riders who want one steel bike that can do it all.. whether you’re grinding gravel, tackling city commutes, or setting off on your next weekend escape.
