The Santa Cruz Tallboy 6 90 Kit is built for riders who want maximum trail capability without sacrificing efficiency, delivering the perfect balance of speed, confidence, and all-day rideability. Designed as a short-travel trail bike with big-bike attitude, the latest Tallboy has shed weight while gaining travel, creating a platform that climbs efficiently, pedals with purpose, and feels remarkably composed when trails turn technical.

Built around Santa Cruz’s refined CC Carbon frame, the sixth-generation Tallboy benefits from a significant weight reduction of over 300 grams compared to previous models, resulting in a lighter, more responsive ride without compromising durability. Paired with 140mm of front travel and 130mm of rear suspension through Santa Cruz’s proven four-bar suspension layout, the Tallboy delivers improved small-bump sensitivity, enhanced traction, and a more supportive ride feel through rough terrain and technical descents.
Developed through extensive testing and multiple suspension iterations, the Tallboy 6 prioritizes handling confidence while maintaining the quick, lively character riders have always loved. Updated geometry includes a slacker head tube angle for added stability at speed, a steeper seat tube angle for climbing efficiency, and shorter seat tubes to maximize dropper post compatibility across all frame sizes. Proportional geometry and frame stiffness tuning ensure every rider, from XS to XXL, experiences consistent ride quality.
Designed for versatility, the Tallboy features a geometry flip chip that allows riders to tailor the bike’s handling to match terrain and riding style. The high setting improves pedaling efficiency, while the low setting unlocks added confidence for aggressive descents. Practical details like top tube accessory mounts, Santa Cruz’s improved Glovebox in-frame storage system, integrated chain guide, and durable frame protection make the Tallboy ready for everything from fast local loops to all-day backcountry adventures.
Whether serving as a one-bike quiver, a lightweight complement to a longer-travel bike, or a fast and capable trail machine for covering serious ground, the Tallboy 6 90 Kit is built for riders who want efficiency on the climbs and confidence when the trail points down.
