The R5 is the bike Cervélo build when the priority is going uphill fast. It is their lightest road frame, tuned for stiffness-to-weight rather than aerodynamics, and it rewards riders who spend their time on gradients and in the mountains rather than sitting at 45 km/h on the flat.

This build pairs that frame with SRAM RED — the lightest groupset SRAM make, fully wireless, with no derailleur cabling anywhere on the bike. Combined with the R5 frame it produces one of the lightest complete road bikes you can buy over the counter. Finished in Five Black with bronze detail in satin, on Cervélo's all-carbon tapered R5 fork.
