About this bike

The BMC Roadmachine 01 Three Bike makes the case that an endurance road bike doesn't have to give anything back to a race machine. Built on BMC's 01 Premium Carbon frame with the Tuned Compliance Concept Endurance geometry — a dropped bottom bracket, adapted head tube angle, increased stack, and one of the tightest rear centers in the category — the Roadmachine sits closer to the Teammachine race platform than most endurance bikes dare to go. The result is a bike that irons out road buzz without losing the snap and precision that makes a carbon road bike worth riding hard.

The build around the 01 Premium Carbon chassis is considered at every level. Shimano Ultegra Di2 handles shifting duties — reliable, precise, and fast enough that most riders will never need more — paired with a 4iiii Precision Gen3+ single-side power meter built directly onto the Ultegra R8100 crankset. A power meter at this price point isn't a given, and BMC's decision to spec it here says something about who the Roadmachine is designed for: riders who train with data and want a bike that does the work without needing aftermarket upgrades out of the box. The 50/34 compact chainring setup with an 11-34 cassette gives you a wide range that handles both long climbs and fast flat riding.

The integration package is where the Roadmachine 01 stands apart from most bikes in this tier. The ICS2 integrated cockpit stem provides full stack and reach adjustability while routing cables internally and reducing cockpit clutter to near zero. The BMC HB D4 01 Premium Carbon handlebar brings 12° of flare — enough to open up hand position on longer efforts without committing to a gravel-specific layout. The downtube houses a purpose-designed water-repellent storage pouch sealed beneath the bottle cage mounts, and the Integrated Rear Light 25 clips to the seatpost for USB-rechargeable visibility that's genuinely part of the bike rather than an afterthought.
