The original white steel frame still wears its classic Peugeot checkerboard decals, and it has earned its patina honestly — minor light cosmetic marks and small paint chips, no structural damage. French steel from this era rides the way steel is supposed to: lively, compliant, and quiet under you in a way no aluminum frame manages.
