With a drop bar cockpit and road-oriented geometry, this build favours smooth efficiency while maintaining the stability and compliance Surly is known for. Thoughtful sizing ensures consistent ride quality across the range, with XS and Small frames rolling on 650b wheels for improved fit and handling, while Medium through XL frames use 700c wheels for speed and momentum. Rack and fender mounts make it easy to turn the Preamble into a practical all-weather commuter or a simple all-road machine built for long, reliable days in the saddle.
