Cutthroat is Salsa's ultra-endurance mixed-surface bike inspired by the Tour Divide. It's designed and built to cover long distances with speed and comfort. The name nods both to the competitive nature of the Tour Divide race and to the cutthroat trout, the state fish of every state the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route passes through.

- Carbon frame and fork (Cutthroat Carbon or Cutthroat Carbon Deluxe) built around 29in wheels
- Class 5 VRS: bowed seatstays are compliant over rough gravel while horizontally oriented chainstays resist torque for lateral stiffness
- On-Bike Storage: frame and fork mounts for extra bottles, repair kits, camping gear, and ride accessories, so you can carry more on the bike and less on your body
- Frame Protection: frame and fork designed and built to hold up to the rugged adventures you put them through
- Drivetrain builds spanning Shimano GRX 610 1x up through SRAM GX AXS Transmission and Apex AXS Transmission, built for long days of mixed-surface, self-supported riding
