About this bike

The Look G85 Cezal RS Force XPLR AXS Bike is the race-focused version of Look's G85 gravel platform, built around a UD high modulus carbon frame with a racing lay-up. It is a Look gravel bike for riders who treat a long dirt road the way road racers treat a climb: as something to ride hard. Look has been part of cycling's technical history since it introduced the clipless pedal in the 1980s, and the G85 Cezal carries that engineering-first approach onto mixed terrain.

A Frame Tuned for Speed

Look developed the RS lay-up to be lighter and stiffer than the standard G85 Cezal, with the stated goal of improving bottom bracket and head tube stiffness for harder efforts and sharper handling. The result is a frame meant to respond when you stand on the pedals out of a corner or push a sustained gravel climb. The rear stays use Look's wave design, which is intended to filter vibration from rough surfaces so the frame stays comfortable over a long day. A UD carbon fork, integrated headset, T47 threaded bottom bracket and Look LS1 UD carbon seatpost round out the chassis.

Handling That Stays Calm Off-Road

Geometry is built for control at speed. Across the size run, 425mm chainstays keep the rear end compact and the bike eager to change direction, while head angles of 69.5 to 70.5 degrees and a long-for-the-category reach add stability when the surface turns loose or steep. On the medium, a 70-degree head angle, 380mm reach and 590mm stack give a position that is aggressive enough for racing without being punishing across a full day. Look quotes clearance for up to 57mm tires at the front and 50mm at the rear on this build, so the Hutchinson Touareg Race 700x45 tires fitted here leave room to go wider when conditions call for it.

SRAM Force XPLR AXS, Wireless

The drivetrain is SRAM Force AXS XPLR E1, a 13-speed wireless electronic group. A 40-tooth chainring pairs with a 10-46 XG-1371 cassette, giving a gear range that covers fast flat sections and steep, loose pitches without…
