Felt SR81 Hybrid

Hybrid bikes occupy a broad spectrum, and where a bike sits on that spectrum defines everything about how it actually rides. The SR81 leans toward the road end — geometry that positions you comfortably upright without tipping into the sluggish, heavy feel of a cruiser. You get enough postural ease to handle a longer weekday commute or a weekend errand loop without arriving stiff, but enough responsiveness that when you decide to push through a gap in traffic or carry pace on a longer stretch of road, the bike obliges. That calibration — finding the window between accessibility and performance — is genuinely harder to get right than most manufacturers acknowledge. Felt has been doing it long enough to know where that window is.

The 62cm frame in blue is the single available configuration, and it's a considered one. The colorway is clean and understated — a finish that reads well in an urban context without demanding attention. The SR81 is the kind of bike that fits into a life rather than dominating it: at home locked outside a coffee shop, in a corridor at the office, or rolling through a Saturday farmers market. For riders who want one well-made machine that handles the full breadth of daily life, it makes a compelling case.
