Felt Nine FRD

This is a custom built hardtail based on the Felt FRD frame-set. At its heart, the Felt XC frame in UHC Ultimate + TeXtreme carbon carries a kind of restrained obsession with speed. Light, precise, and impossibly composed, it turns every pedal stroke into forward intent. InsideOut construction keeps it clean and purposeful, while details like the Kevlar chain watcher and full carbon dropouts whisper that nothing here is accidental. Up front, the RockShox SID Select glides through 120mm of travel with a calm confidence, smoothing the rough edges of the trail without ever dulling your connection to it. You don’t fight the terrain, you read it, flow through it, become part of it. The DT Swiss wheelset rolls with a quiet authority. Engagement is instant, momentum effortless. Wrapped in Hutchinson Python 2 tires, tubeless and ready, they carry speed like it belongs there, gripping when you need it, releasing when you don’t. The drivetrain is simple, deliberate, and honest. A 1x11 SRAM setup with a wide 10–46T range gives you everything without distraction. One shifter, one decision, one rhythm. Paired with the Praxis Cadet crank and WAVE chainring, power transfers cleanly, like a conversation without interruption. Control is where this bike speaks most clearly. The 750mm bar and long, stable stem stretch you into an efficient position, while SRAM Level T hydraulics and Tektro rotors offer braking that feels intuitive, not abrupt.
